Our story

Shibu (渋) + dō (道).

ShibuDo means the way of persimmon tannin. We built it for people who train — quality odor protection athletes and everyday people can actually afford. No luxury markup. Persimmon (Diospyros kaki) fruit extract, probiotic peptides, and a formula built for the mats and off.

Unlike heavy traditional deodorants, SHIBUDO has no waxes, oils, baking soda, or chalky starches. Water-based fine mist that dries clean.

A well-known deodorant ingredient that helps neutralize the compounds behind sweat odor.

Probiotic peptides

A fermented Lactobacillus filtrate that supports a balanced skin surface and keeps the formula naturally fresh.

Persimmon fruit

The hero ingredient. Diospyros kaki fruit extract — the astringent tannin known in Japan as kakishibu. In supplier lab tests it removed 80–98% of ammonia, trimethylamine, acetic and isovaleric acid odors.

Alcohol-free witch hazel

A clean, alcohol-free base that feels light on skin after the mats or the gym.
